Samsung is handing out a huge freebie this Easter but you have to pick one exact thing at the Galaxy checkout
Samsung is giving away a free pair of earphones this Easter in a sweet deal that may tempt mobile fans to upgrade their handset. That’s because the brand will add the £219 tech gadget into your basket for free when you buy its latest Galaxy phone.
Most Samsung fans won’t need a reminder as to which range of phone you’ll need to buy, but if you’re new to the brand then the Galaxy S24 models are the ones you’ll want to look at. Whether it’s the standard S24, the middle-of-the-run S24 Plus, or the biggest S24 Ultra device, all three include a free Buds 2Pro pair.
It’s the latest freebie deal to be added to its flagship mobile range, but like its previous free GalaxyTag deal (yes, the trackable gadgets that are becoming a huge hit with travellers) there’s a time limit. All eager shoppers have to buy before the end of the Easter weekend, as the free deal closes this coming Tuesday, April 2.

The exact same pair is added to your online shopping card no matter which model you buy, so you’ll get a free £219 gadget no matter if you buy the £799 128GB standard S24 or splurge on the 1TB Galaxy S24 Ultra – this one will set you back £1,549. Of course, being an eagle-eyed consumer team ourselves, we’re always on the lookout for a deal, and there’s another easy way you can cut the price.
Again it’s a feature available on all S24 models, you can cut even more off the price (up to £520 off) by handing in your unused, dusty, old phone. And it doesn’t matter the model as anything from Apple, Google, Huawei and Oppo are on the list and if you don’t find yours you can simply click ‘other’. To do this, head over to the S24 phone you had in mind, pick your usual storage size etc and scroll down to the ‘trade-in’ header.
If forking out at least £700 on a brand-new swanky smartphone just isn’t suitable for you, then not to worry as it’s not the only way to get your hands on wireless earphones for a fraction of the price. While not free, Samsung is also running a sale on the tech gadget.
Reduced from an original £219 the 360 surround sound pair can now be bought for £159, an Easter deal that will save listeners £60. Thanks to its subtle high-tech features these headphones offer a high-quality sound experience (thanks to its 24bit Hi-Fi), and crisp sharp audio.
Samsung’s deal on its Galaxy Buds isn’t the only price drop around this weekend, with the Sony WH-1000XM4 also featuring in the sales. You can find them for £49 cheaper at Argos as they’re reduced from £249 to £199. And they’re well recommended by tech experts.
