The summer transfer window is little over two weeks away from opening and there are already plenty of rumours swirling around in the Premier League. Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham may all be in the market for a centre-forward this summer, with all three teams looking for a number of other deals too.
Our London sides are likely to be busy when it comes to outgoing players too, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all likely to clear the decks of fringe players unlikely to get game time.
Before any signings can be made at Chelsea, the Blues need to name a new manager, with Enzo Maresca looking likely to be that man. Chelsea have had talks with Leicester over a deal for Pep Guardiola’s former assistant coach.
Arsenal and Spurs are already putting in the groundwork ahead of the summer transfer window opening and it is likely to be a frantic few weeks ahead of the Euro 2024 getting under way.
Such is the nature of football, you cannot go far without getting a prediction or analysis over what could happen, not only on the pitch, but in the transfer market too. And AI has had its say too.
BettingSites used an AI tool to predict which transfers would happen this summer in the Premier League and away from England’s top flight and it came up with some juicy deals.

AI determined that Tottenham would lose their captain Son Heung-min to Atletico Madrid, for a fee of just €68million (£57.8million). The South Korean may be 31 years old, but he is worth considerably more than that to Spurs right now.
Chelsea were predicted to sign Achraf Hakimi for £60million from Paris Saint-Germain, while Arsenal youngster Emile Smith Rowe, so often on the periphery of things under Mikel Arteta, signed for Borussia Dortmund for €50million (£42.5million).
There were also a couple of rather big bits of transfer news involving other Premier League clubs. Kylian Mbappe has all-but signed for Real Madrid on a free transfer from PSG, but according to AI he will snub Los Blancos to make a stunning move to Manchester United.
Meanwhile, United’s big rivals Liverpool are gearing up for a season without Jurgen Klopp and they would also lose talisman Mohamed Salah according to AI. The Egyptian is to sign for Real Madrid – getting over the Mbappe disappointment – for €130million (£110.5million).
Lee Astley, head of news at BettingSites said: “If AI had got it right and some of these predicted transfers actually happen, we are in for an absolutely mental summer transfer window.
“A transfer window that sees the likes of Kylian Mbappe snub Real Madrid in favour of a move to Old Trafford and Ivan Toney move to Newcastle is sure to be a big one. Not to mention the likes of Mohamed Salah, Bernardo Silva, Miguel Almirón, Son Heung-Min and Emile Smith Rowe all leaving the Premier League in favour of moves across Europe.”
