A woman gave a takeaway a scathing review, claiming one of the female workers was sleeping with married customers – and then she received an unexpected peace offering

A woman named Lisa accused a 19-year-old takeaway worker of having affairs with married men in a scathing one-star online review.

The tweet showcasing her review has gone viral and highlights the bizarre peace offering made to the fuming wife, who alleges her husband was hit on by the young employee.

“The girl who answers the phones of this takeaway (katie) likes to sleep with married men behind their wives back,” begins the incensed review. “Do not order from here if you [do not] want your husband to sleep with other women.”

Her rant didn’t stop there: “She’s 19 my husband is 45 says a lot doesn’t it. She can’t find men her own age so has to find older men who are maried.

“Food is awful aswell never liked the food been coming for years but won’t be coming here again now will be going to panda hut from now on. This girl needs to be sacked no professionalism and flirts with men on the phones all day. Would give 0 stars if I could.”

While the review left social media users chuckling, it was the takeaway’s response that really got them howling. Zak, a staff member, responded with an offer of peace: “Apologies for the issue please come to our store and claim a free apple crumble. Apologies again kindly show this msg to the staff.”

One Twitter user quipped below the post: “One unfaithful husband = one apple crumble.” Another cheekily suggested: “I could sleep with Katie, then complain later and get a apple crumble. WIN/WIN.”

Some social media users humorously suggested that the promise of a free apple crumble might trigger a surge in infidelity, with spouses seeking out Katie for the sweet reward. A tweet said: “Now everyone will be coaxing their husband to sleep with Katie just so they can get free apple crumble.”

Another said: “Free dessert and something on the side. No wonder people keep going even if food isn’t that good.” And someone else joked: “To be fair I’d exchange my husband for free apple crumble.”
