Ange Postecoglou has named his Tottenham Hotspur team to face QPR in their second official pre-season friendly of the summer.

Spurs began their pre-season preparations officially in Edinburgh on Wednesday with a 5-1 win against Heart of Midlothian with goals from Brennan Johnson, Will Lankshear, Mikey Moore and Djed Spence as well as a late own goal forced by Ashley Phillips. That performance north of the border followed a behind-closed-doors friendly at Hotspur Way last Saturday against League One side Cambridge United which finished 7-2 across the two halves.

New signings Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall both impressed during the victory in Scotland and the 18-year-old pair are involved in the starting line-up as Ange Postecoglou takes his team across the capital to face QPR, who finished 18th in the Championship last season under Marti Cifuentes.

Postecoglou has switched up his team slightly with Pape Matar Sarr back from injury, while Timo Werner comes into the first half side as does Bergvall with Dejan Kulusevski, Manor Solomon, and James Maddison on the bench for the second half. Gray and Oliver Skipp continue as makeshift centre-backs.

Here is the Tottenham team that will start the match against QPR at Loftus Road:

Austin, Porro, Gray, Skipp, Donley, Sarr, Bissouma, Bergvall, Johnson, Son (c), Werner. Substitutes: Whiteman, Gunter, Spence, Royal, Phillips, Abbott, Hall, Kulusevski, Devine, Maddison, Moore, Robson, Solomon, Lankshear, Scarlett, Veliz.
