Hello and welcome to football.london’s live coverage of the Europa League final between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

Brennan Johnson’s first half goal was enough for Spurs to win their first trophy since 2008. It was an incredibly nervy game at San Mames Stadium, with Micky van de Ven clearing the ball off the line and Guglielmo Vicario saving a last minute Luke Shaw header.

There were jubilant scenes at the full-time whistle as Ange Postecoglou kept his promise of always winning silverware in his second season. Captain Son Heung-min lifted the Europa League trophy to the delight of the Spurs supporters and the players continued the celebrations on the pitch, parading the trophy in front of the sea of white.

It means a disappointing season ends with a trophy and Champions League qualification! Tottenham correspondents Alasdair Gold, Rob Guest and Lee Wilmot will be bringing you the latest updates, analysis and reaction.
