The FA Cup is just one game away from the first round proper with non-league clubs vying for progression. With that comes the potential to draw an EFL side.
After a number of qualifying rounds have already been played after the competition began way back in August and with the draw for the fourth qualifying round to be made, clubs from the National League will enter the draw.
Former Football League clubs such as Altrincham, Forest Green Rovers, Morecambe, Southend, Scunthorpe United and Yeovil Town are in the hat for Monday’s FA Cup draw, which will be made live on talkSPORT.
With that comes some big names which will see Robbie Savage, manager of Forest Green, learn who they must overcome in order to progress closer to a blockbuster tie.
The draw is split into the Northern and Southern section but ties are due to be played on the weekend commencing October 11.
It is also the final round that replays will be in force before they are scrapped from the first round onwards.
Clubs are at least 90 minutes away from the prospect of playing some of English football’s lower league giants with Bolton Wanderers, Cardiff City, Huddersfield Town, Luton Town and Reading all entering the draw from the first round.
You can follow all the action, in our live draw right here, with all the build-up and the ties as they get drawn out of the velvet bag.
