Tottenham Hotspur are back in Champions League action as they welcome Slavia Prague on Tuesday evening.
Tottenham are looking to extend a 22-game unbeaten home run in Europe which stretches back half a decade for the north London outfit, all the way back to 2020. They need to win their next three games in the competition to give themselves a chance of finishing in the top eight and advancing without the need for the play-off round.
Spurs confirmed on Tuesday that they have taken advantage of a UEFA rule to bring Mathys Tel into their Champions League squad in place of the injured Dominic Solanke. That means the Frenchman can add to Thomas Frank’s attacking options as the north London side look to make it back-to-back wins at home.
There will also be an emotional return for former skipper Son Heung-min, who is set to say a proper goodbye to the fans after his summer departure to LAFC following 10 years at the club.
