Live: 3 Tube lines part-suspended or hit with delays and train line blocked between London Victoria and Clapham Junction

Three Tube lines have either been part-suspended or hit with delays as a major train line has been blocked between stations this morning (April 15).

The Bakerloo Line has been part suspended with no service between Stonebridge Park and Harrow and Wealdstone while Network Rail fix a signal failure at Harrow and Wealdstone. Tickets are being accepted on London Overground as there is good service on the rest of the line.

The District Line has been part-suspended and hit with severe delays while the service recovers from a late finish of engineering work, tickets are being accepted on London Buses, DLR, South Western Railway and C2C. There is no service between Dagenham East and Upminster.

TFL were reporting minor delays on the Jubilee Line but there is now a good service on the line. The Piccadilly Line is also experiencing minor delays due to train cancellations.

The Tram is still partially closed until April 2024 with no service between Wellesley Road/George Street and Beckenham Junction/ Elmers End / New Addington. Eastbound trains will operate from Wimbledon to Wellesley Road and Westbound trains will operate from George Street to Wimbledon.

On the train network, a points failure between Clapham Junction and London Victoria means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised. This is expected until 8am.

A number of Southern and Gatwick Express services to & from London Victoria will be cancelled or amended this morning. There may also be delays to trains which do run between Clapham Junction and London Victoria.

National Rail said: “Please check the advice below carefully, as you may need to leave around 20-30 minutes of extra time for your journey.
