Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou has made three changes to his team for their North London Derby against Arsenal on Sunday.
Spurs are back in action after a long 15-day break and they need to build some momentum in a final run of six tricky fixtures as they look to overhaul Aston Villa for a top four spot this season. Postecoglou’s side now lie seven points behind Unai Emery’s team with three games in hand.
Sunday’s visitors to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Mikel Arteta’s Gunners, are looking to remain on top in the title race ahead of Manchester City, with Liverpool stuttering behind the two of them. Both Spurs and Arsenal will be looking to claim the derby bragging rights up for grabs with the first fixture earlier in the season having finished in a 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium.
Last week Postecoglou lost Destiny Udogie for the remainder of the season after a freak injury in training required quadriceps surgery but the Australian has been lifted by the return of Pedro Porro and Richarlison to full training this week. The Spurs boss stated that Ben Davies would come into the team to replace Udogie at left-back and until this point in his time at Tottenham, the Welshman is yet to lose a single home North London Derby he has started in.
Richarlison returns to the bench, having not started a game in two months with skipper Son Heung-min remaining through the middle. Timo Werner starts on the left and Dejan Kulusevski, who became a father for the first time this week, comes back into the team on the right for Brennan Johnson.

In the midfield, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg comes in for only his seventh Premier League start of the season alongside Rodrigo Bentancur and James Maddison with Yves Bissouma benched.
Here’s the Spurs team Postecoglou has selected to face the Gunners at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium:
Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Davies; Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Maddison; Kulusevski, Son, Werner. Subs: Austin, Emerson, Dragusin, Bissouma, Sarr, Lo Celso, Johnson, Gil, Richarlison.
