An 11-year-old girl has been rushed to hospital after being hit by an ‘electric unicycle’ in North London this afternoon (July 15). Shoot Up Hill in Kilburn has been cordoned off by the Metropolitan Police after the crash, which happened at the junction with St Cuthbert’s Road.
The rider of the unicycle didn’t stop at the scene and police officers are now trying to trace them. The girl was taken to hospital, and her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
On X, the account @LifeInKilburn posted: “Police incident on Shoot Up Hill. Road closed from Kilburn Station” shortly after 3pm. Photos included in the post showed the police van, as well as cordons set up, blocking the road.
The road has been closed from Exeter Road to up past St Cuthbert’s Road on Shoot Up Hill, according to the AA’s live traffic map.
