Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho’s personal photographer appears to have suggested that the Argentine will not be playing for Ruben Amorim’s team next season.

In the January transfer window, it emerged that Chelsea were keeping a close eye on Garnacho amid suggestions that United needed to cut their budget significantly.

The 20-year-old’s agents were then spotted at Stamford Bridge that month which only fuelled speculation that he was wanted by the Blues, but football.london later confirmed that this visit was not made upon an invite from the club.

After the Europa League final, where Garnacho complained in the media about his lack of minutes and described the season as ‘s***’, our colleagues at the Manchester Evening News reported that the winger had been informed he could look for a new club this summer.

It was later reported elsewhere that Garnacho had come to the decision that a move would be best for himself.

“Up until the final I played every round helping the team, and today I play 20 minutes, I don’t know,” Garnacho said after the final in Seville last month.

“The final will influence (my decision) but the whole season, the situation of the club. I’m going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens afterwards.”

Since then, speculation has been rife as to where his next club will be with reports in the national press claiming that Garnacho wants to remain in the Premier League. Chelsea have been credited with interest in the forward and Enzo Maresca has admitted that his team will sign a winger this summer having failed to reach terms with Jadon Sancho.

On Instagram, Garnacho has already taken the time to send his support to Chelsea’s new signing Liam Delap following his debut against LAFC in the Club World Cup, despite the pair having not played together.

Meanwhile, his personal photographer Konrad Borzy hinted on Monday that Garnacho’s time at Old Trafford is now up.

Sharing a series of photos of Garnacho to his feed, Borzy captioned the post: “One last time in Manchester United red… Alejandro Garnacho under the lens.” This caption suggests that Borzy expects the winger to be playing his football away from Old Trafford but his exact next destination is still unclear.

According to the bookmakers bet365, Chelsea remain the favourites to sign Garnacho with Atletico Madrid just behind them alongside Napoli and Erik ten Hag’s Bayer Leverkusen.
