football.london takes a look at how the Gunners could line up for their Premier League clash with Luton Town at the Emirates Stadium
Mikel Arteta faces a curious dilemma ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Luton. We’re at the stage in the season where his side can’t afford to drop a single point if they want to become Premier League champions. Equally, with so many games coming up in quick succession he knows he cannot field his strongest side in every one of them.
So as relegation threatened Luton visit the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night, the Spaniard has essentially admitted it’s a not a question of if he will make changes, but rather how many. “It’s a good question,” he said when asked if he risked upsetting his side’s rhythm by making too many tweaks.
“We’re always wondering about that. It’s just changing certain personnel in certain moments, looking at how they play together, how much time they have spent together that can affect things as well. It’s related to what they do every single day in training as well. We will look at all these things and try to find the right team to win.”
With Manchester City playing Aston Villa and Liverpool playing Sheffield United, he’ll be all too aware that he can’t take too many risks. Here football.london takes a look at how he might line his side up.
