Kate Middleton’s lavish Norfolk home where she’s recovering from surgery

By Staff

Kate Middleton is believed to have spent some time at Amner Hall in Norfolk recovering from planned abdominal surgery. Here the Daily Express US gives us information about inside this grand estate.

Currently, the Princess of Wales is living at Adelaide Cottage with Prince William and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. However, last month it’s understood she spent a week at Anmer Hall, a beautiful 19th-century country house, while the children were on their half-term school break.

Anmer Hall was a wedding gift to Prince William and Kate from the late Queen Elizabeth II. After receiving it, the couple made significant changes to turn the property into their home.

With 10 bedrooms, a swimming pool and a private tennis court, Anmer Hall has been a safe haven for the Royal family, particularly during the COVID period. Tall trees were planted during the renovation to ensure their privacy, according to reports. The makeover also included a new roof, kitchen, conservatory, and a complete interior redecoration.

Between 2015 and 2017, the royals called Anmer Hall their main home before they moved back to Kensington Palace to focus on their full-time Royal duties. Anmer Hall is just a quick five-minute car ride from Sandringham House, a favoured spot for the Royal Family’s Christmas celebrations.

The Princess of Wales ‘apologised’ on Monday (March 11) for confusion caused by a photo posted on social media on Mother’s Day (March 10). The photo, which showed Kate in the centre surrounded by her three children, caused uproar after people spotted many parts of it had been edited.

In a statement on the Kensington Palace social media accounts, personally signed C for Catherine, she said: “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C.”
