Londoners look set for an Easter weekend of mixed weather. Temperatures look to be satisfactory, with periods of sunlight throughout.

Blue skies look to be at a premium, however, as cloud cover, forecasters say, will be near constant. As far as rain goes, there will be light precipitation and drizzle for much of the weekend.

Packing an umbrella is therefore advisable. But one day stands out as by far the driest. So, if you have outdoor plans, this may well be the time to do them.

Below is what the BBC is predicting as regards weather conditions in the capital between Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Friday, March 29

According to BBC weather, Londoners should expect ‘light rain’ between 7am and 1pm. It will then be cloudy until 2pm.

Sun will break through the clouds between 3pm and 6pm. There’s a chance of rain again at 3pm, though. The highest temperature will be 13C, with a low of 7C.

Saturday, March 30

It will be dry and sunny between 6am and 9am. It will then be overcast between 10am and 12pm. A combination of light rain and sun will come next between 1pm and 3pm. Drizzle will follow between 4pm and 5pm.

The BBC says that, finally, the sun will enjoy a cloudless sky at 6pm. The highest temperature will be 15C, with a low of 6C.

Sunday, March 31

Sunday is looking like it will be the driest day. You can expect some sun with clouds between 7am and 11am. It will then become overcast between 12pm and 3pm.

But the sun will come back between 4pm and 7pm, albeit with still come cloud cover. The highest temperature will be 15C, with a low of 10C.

Monday, April 1

Monday is looking quite wet. The BBC says there will be light rain between 6am and 4pm. This will continue with some sun between 5pm and 7pm. The highest temperature will be 14C, with a low of 9C.

If you’re in need of a new umbrella, a windproof design said to be resistant to even UK winds would set you back £23.99 on Amazon. The ACEIken Golf Umbrella is also available from eBay for £25.80.

The umbrella’s price varies slightly depending on colour. Along with the black, you can get it in blue, navy, green, purple, and red and black.

There are also two sizes: an already-big 62 inches, or a massive 68 inch-umbrella. Designed for intense weather, the umbrella has a double canopy design that creates a vent for wind to pass through to avoid flipping.
