Hello and welcome to football.london for live coverage of Mauricio Pochettino’s pre-match press conference from Cobham. The Chelsea head coach is due to speak to the media at 12:30pm (UK time) ahead of the Blues’ clash with Burnley at the weekend.

The international break is over and it is now an 11-game run-in – in the Premier League – for Chelsea before the conclusion of Pochettino’s first season with the club. So much is still to happen before the summer and Pochettino will be desperate for his young squad to pick up some momentum.

In their last eight matches in all competitions, the Blues have lost just once – the Carabao Cup final defeat to Liverpool after extra-time – and have actually showed some promising form. Although not all of the performances have been good which means the pressure remains firmly on Pochettino’s shoulders for the time being.

This weekend, Vincent Kompany’s struggling Burnley team come to Stamford Bridge in a game that Chelsea go into as overwhelming favourites. Pochettino will not be taking anything for granted, though, with perhaps a better knowledge than most that the Premier League is as unpredictable as it gets.

We are set to hear from the Argentine this afternoon once the squad finish their training session at Cobham. You can follow extensive coverage in our live blog below with Bobby Vincent.
